Disability

Disability in Pakistan is a physical or mental condition that limits a person’s movements, senses, or activities. According to the 5th Population and Housing Census conducted in 1998 identified the population of Persons with Disabilities in Pakistan to be 2.38% of the entire population. However, as per the 6th Population and Housing Census of 2017, the percentage has gone down to less than 0.48%.

People with disabilities are generally concealed, unheard and uncounted people in Pakistan. They are the foremost marginalized group. People with Disabilities confront overpowering obstructions in education, skills advancement and everyday life. Most as of now advertised administrations center on children, with small accessibility for grown-up People with Disabilities.
